Every animal has its own record with ear tags, RFID, breed, date of birth, parents, offspring, reproduction events, treatments, vaccinations, weighings, milk production and the full history of entering and leaving the herd.

Once a reproduction event is recorded, ViFerm works out the dates that follow and puts them in the calendar. You can follow expected heats, matings and inseminations, pregnancy checks, calvings and weanings.

Yes. Before a mating or insemination, the platform checks pedigree back through four generations. Where important records are missing, ViFerm shows a warning rather than assuming the animals are unrelated.

You can record the condition, the treatment, the dose, when it was given and who gave it. Where it matters, the withdrawal periods for milk and meat are tracked as well.

Each weighing goes into the animal's history. ViFerm draws the growth curve, works out average daily gain, and lets you compare the result with the reference figures available for that breed.

Yes. You choose the cows being milked and record the amount from each milking for the whole farm. If you measure separately, you can also record each cow’s amount. You follow how production develops, the averages, deliveries, milk used on the farm and the estimated stock in the tank. The milking sheet can be imported from Excel, CSV or TXT.

Yes. You can upload your animals from an Excel (.xlsx) or CSV file. ViFerm shows you how the information in the columns is taken in, so you can check it before saving. The animal records are created once you confirm.

Yes. You prepare a PDF with each animal's ear tag, name, breed, age and dam, for the whole active herd or for the filtered list. You download it and print it.

No, not at this time. ViFerm is for organising and running the herd internally. The reporting and the official steps you owe the authorities in your country stay separate.

ViFerm is completely free. There is no subscription, no trial that runs out and no features locked behind a payment. We show no advertising and we do not sell user data.

Yes. You can record animals, calvings, treatments and weighings even when the phone has no signal. The entries are kept on the phone and sync with the farm's account by themselves as soon as the connection is back.

Yes. The farm owner can invite staff, administrators or the vet, and can set what each of them sees and changes. ViFerm keeps a record of who entered every piece of information.

Vivi guides you through the app, in the language you work in. You tell her what you want to do or what you don’t understand, and she explains where to find the feature, which steps to follow and what the options on screen mean. For example, you can ask her how to record a calving or a treatment, or how to use the milk records. From the conversation you can also write to the ViFerm team. Questions Vivi cannot answer reach the team and help us add to what she knows.

Vivi has no access to your farm’s data and makes no changes to your account. She explains how to use the app; you enter and check the information yourself. Her help is about ViFerm; for veterinary or feeding advice, turn to your farm’s specialist.

Your data stays yours. You can export it at any time, together with the farm's history. If you stop using ViFerm, the account and the farm can be deleted from the app for good.
